Founded in 2019 by Antoine and Gaud Yver, The Blue Bears was created to provide meaningful training and employment opportunities for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. French natives Céline and Eric Guillemot took over leadership in 2024 and continued the mission of inclusion, skill development, and community. Drawing on Céline’s background in hospitality management and Eric’s passion for baking, they blend French culinary tradition with a purpose-driven approach, serving homemade dishes in a warm, vintage French setting. The Blue Bears employs and trains individuals with disabilities alongside their peers, fostering confidence, independence, and joy through shared work, food, and friendship.
